Buddy Deshler, trumpet, is an XO Performing Artist for Jupiter Band Instruments as well as an Artist for Denis Wick, DANSR Inc. He received the Bachelor of Music and Artist Diploma degrees from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and is currently a Master of Music candidate at the Peabody Conservatory.
Trumpeter Brandon Cave performs regularly throughout the Baltimore/DC area as a soloist and chamber musician. Recently named Second Trumpet of the American Pops Orchestra, he is also a member of the brass faculty of the Baltimore School of Music as well as the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. At the Peabody Conservatory, he is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate, studying with Josef Burgstaller.
Sam Bessen is an accomplished horn performer and teacher, currently based in Baltimore, Maryland. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Performance from the University of Denver, where he performed regularly with the Jefferson and Pueblo Symphony Orchestras as well as with the Denver Brass. Sam is currently working on his Master of Music degree in Horn Performance at the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, where he studies with Denise Tryon.
Michael Minor recently graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in Music, concentrating in Performance and Technology and is currently pursuing a MM in Tuba Performance at the Peabody Conservatory, studying with the David Fedderly. He currently performs with the Peabody Concert Orchestra and Marquee Brass. In his time at Virginia Tech, Michael performed with the Virginia Tech Faculty Quintet and the New River Valley Symphony.
Ricson Poonin is a Master of Music degree candidate at the Peabody Conservatory in the studio of James Olin. On leave from the Philippine Philharmonic, he is a graduate of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila and has performed with the Philippine Pops Orchestra, AMP Big Band, and in professional theater productions as well as recorded and toured with the Asian Youth Orchestra and the Southeast Asian Youth Orchestra and Wind Ensemble.
